I hope this will solve this issue if any more kbm players come across this.Time to answer these to the best of my abilities. This should fix your movement.Īpologies for bumping the thread, just haven't seen anyone really talk about it as it's not a common issue. Then once it's player 1, you can load up Dark Souls 3 and keep the controller plugged in, then use only your keyboard and mouse, if it has drift you can try changing the dead zones. If all else fails, then simply plug in a controller, make sure it is player 1, you can do that by restarting your PC if it's not. It should be fixed when you next load up Dark Souls 3, if not, go into task manager disable some programs in the start up section, only keep mandatory programs enabled, unplug your keyboard and restart your computer. Verify integrity of game files, this probably doesn't do anything to fix it, but it's one of the steps I took, so do it just in case.ĥ. Make sure it does not detect any controllers, this should be at the very bottom, if so uncheck everything.Ĥ. On steam, go to the top left go to steam < settings < controller < general controller settings. (SIDE NOTE: if it's vjoy or something similar check to see if it's a program you can uninstall, if it is, uninstall it.)ģ. If you cannot find any there, check Devices and Printers in the windows settings, disable anything out of the ordinary, if it's vJoy or something to do with game controller or Xbox, right click and disable it. Check device manager, see if any controllers are plugged in, if so unplug / disable them.Ģ. But I'll go over the general fixes in case someone else has this issue and finds this.ġ. I've also had this issue, and there's a few things which I've done to fix it, I didn't have a controller plugged in and had this issue.
